Belt conveyor line is widely used in industrial production, but the noise and dust pollution generated during operation have adverse effects on the environment and personnel health. Here are some effective environmental protection measures:
First, for the noise problem. Use a soundproof cover at the drive motor and transmission parts of the belt conveyor line. The soundproof cover can be made of materials with good sound absorption effect such as sound-absorbing cotton, foam plastic, etc., which can effectively block the noise propagation generated by the operation of the motor and the gear transmission. For example, in a belt conveyor line for large-scale ore transportation, after installing a special soundproof cover for the motor, the surrounding noise was reduced by about 15-20 decibels. At the same time, the contact parts between the belt and the rollers, drums, etc. are optimized to ensure smooth and smooth operation of the belt and reduce the noise caused by friction and vibration. For example, regularly check and adjust the horizontality and spacing of the rollers to ensure that the belt is evenly stressed and avoid additional noise caused by belt jumping.
Secondly, for dust pollution. Set up efficient dust collection hoods at the material loading and unloading points. The shape and size of the dust collection hood should be designed according to the actual material flow to ensure that dust can be collected to the greatest extent. With the use of bag dust collector or electrostatic dust collector, the collected dust is filtered and purified before being discharged. Taking the belt conveyor line for coal transportation as an example, after installing the dust hood and bag dust collector, more than 95% of dust particles can be effectively captured, which greatly reduces the dust concentration in the working environment. In addition, during the belt conveying process, a spray dust reduction system can be used, and the nozzles are reasonably arranged above the belt to spray an appropriate amount of water mist so that the dust particles and water mist are combined and settled. However, it is necessary to control the amount of water spray to prevent the material from being too wet and affecting the conveying quality and subsequent processing.
In addition, start from the overall structure and operating parameters of the equipment. Optimize the structural design of the belt conveyor line, reduce unnecessary edges and gaps, and avoid dust accumulation. At the same time, reasonably control the running speed of the belt, which should not be too fast, because too high a speed will aggravate the bumps and dust of the material. For example, in some grain conveying operations that require strict dust control, the amount of dust generated is significantly reduced after the belt speed is appropriately reduced.
Finally, strengthen daily maintenance and management. Regularly clean the dust on and around the belt conveyor line, check whether the sealing parts are intact, and replace the worn parts in time, such as damaged rollers and aging belts, to ensure that the equipment is in good operating condition and reduce the generation of noise and dust from the source. Through the implementation of the above comprehensive measures, the operation noise and dust pollution of the belt conveyor line can be effectively reduced to achieve environmentally friendly production.
